Winter is almost over!!
After a 3in snow storm on Saturday, it was 50 in Smithville on Sunday. Here are some pictures of the winter melting away: (look at this dog 40degree weather does not stop him from taking a dip in the lake)

Nathan Tim Warden is here..........
My friends Brooke and Adam's first child was born yesterday around 2pm. They named their son Nathan Tim Warden, he is 7lb 2oz, healthy and cute. I can not wait to meet him and talk to my friends soon. Here are some pictures of the happy family:
Time flys when you are having fun!
Our weekend was spent working in the yard- hanging out with our neighbors Mark and his girl friend Jamie. We decide that after living in our house for a year this weekend- we needed to try and get to know our neighbors- So, on Saturday night after an eventful day in the city- we did just that- We drank some beers and watched a fire burn in to the late hours of the night and got to know our neighbors who live behind us. Good times! On Saturday, during the day, we went to Costco, Prydes and Blue Kao for lunch with my mom and dad. We bought a ton of food, and I think we might have collected almost all of the Fiesta ware pieces in our color. Long story my great-grandma-Ester- gave my parents her Turquoise Fiesta ware from the 1920's and I inherited the collection when I went to college. So, when Aaron and I where married we registered for new Turquoise Fiesta ware. For three years now, we have been added to our collection. Warm Weather, might be hear to stay- Maybe!!
After a short weekend, back to work. I worked on Saturday interviewing students for on campus positions, while Aaron visited with his parents for the day. Saturday of course was beautiful and in the 70s, so after a full day of work Aaron and I went for a quick run and then we broke out the grill and had a little BBQ. Yummy. Sunday we had to catch up on laundry and cleaning.. Then around noonish we took off for a 25miles bike ride around the lake. good times. We are looking forward to Brooke's and Adam having a baby any day now, Amy coming to visit in April, and celebrating our 3rd anniversary in Weston in May. Until next time: God Bless and Enjoy
What a great weekend!!
We spent the weekend with friends Darby and Eric... We played games, laughed, ate, and enjoyed each others company! I wish they were are next door neighbors. After a really long rain on Sunday we head to St. Joe to say hi to Ab's parents for a little bit before we head back home. Last week the weather was 60+ and warm- then the temperature dropped on Saturday back down to the 40s. I am sooooooooo ready for 50+ at least. Though I do really enjoy a warm fire at night. I work this weekend and Aaron is going to hang with his rents for the afternoon. We are looked forward to spring. Until next time: Spring shower bring pretty flowers.
Snow came to visit on Saturday
After being back for only a few days snow came back to Missouri, for hopefully the last time this Winter. Aaron and I have adjusted back into work- not really- but I have enjoyed putting our new paintings up from Playa and drinking my favorite coffee in my robe... We are planning to visit friends Darby and Eric this weekend. Amy is coming to visit in April; so we have a few plans already for the Spring. Brooke's baby is due in 18 days!!
