Embracing the Future....

Work was busy for Aaron and I this past week. Friday rolled around and our suitcases still sat unpacked. Friday night AB went fishing with Tony and Jacob, while I went to a Royal's Game with Brooke, Spence, & Goldie. It was a good game. I got to pick up Nathan with Brooke from Daycare and wow is he cute. Look at the picture below, he is standing on the monkey step stool AB and I got him for the big 1 b-day. Saturday was rainy and we did some much needed laundry and earns. We spent the afternoon working on our bathroom. We made a few upgrades. The Sunday we slept in late and made BBQ ribs for dinner. Also, we squeezed in a walk before the rain storms. We are back to work on this cloudy Monday and we are excited for our trip to St. Louis this weekend. One sleep and we are off to Florida to visit friends, play on the beach, enjoy the deep sea, and maybe a few cocktails :) We have been very busy the past couple of weeks with work, dinners, and boat activities. Our 2010 first boat launch was a success. We hope to get back out on the lake soon. After our adventure to FL, we quickly head to the middle of MO for a weekend of bike riding from one small town to the next. Then a long weekend in our sister city St. Louis with AB's rents. We will be heading to a cardinals game on Sunday among other activities . Then Molly and Zach get married on the 8 th of May... Pumped to say the least. It is an understatment to say how excited we are for the next month of our lives. Will post pictures of our adventures so stay tuned.... We hope this finds you well. Aaron and I enjoyed a sunny weekend at home. Saturday was spent running earns from dropping off the new bike, recycling center drop off, Costco, Easter lunch with the rent at Cafe Europa, a treat from Upper Crust Pies , to Hyvee for more food, then back home for a great 10k run around the lake. After a great BBQ chicken dinner, we watched a little Lord of the Rings before heading off to sleep. Sunday was just as full we cleaned and fixed the boat, washing clothes, bleached toilets, painted toe nails, and washing the truck. Also we managed to squeeze in a trail run before the rain started. It was a great night for movies the Sound of Music was on along with another Lord of the Rings. All and all we were spoiled rotten this weekend and are hoping to have the boat ready to take out on the lake next this weekend. Until next time: to pink toe nails and BBQs in the spring
