Embracing the Future....

Oct 12-14th, Aaron, friends and I went to Herman, MO for Oktoberfest. It was fun. We camped at the city camp cite and enjoyed the small town. We went to 2 different winery's and ate a lot of German food. All in all it was a great weekend in the pouring rain. Yes, that is right all in the rain. We went to Stone Hill Winery, Hermannhof Winery and the Tin Will Brewery.

Oct. 6, 2007 a friend of the family (when I was a young kid) was getting married. The Kate and Caleb were married in the back yard of Kate's parents house. It was a small, beautiful family get together. Aaron and I drove down with my parents. We stopped at local farmers markets, diners and antique shops. It was a good weekend. Lots of laughs in the car. As the month of September comes to a quick close fall is near. I have been drinking a lot of Chai teas instead of lattes. The semester is officially here. I have to start my 15 page paper. Though planning trips, walking and relaxing with Aaron is all I seem to have time for. After reading for class and working full time- I am tired. Though who isn't. On the bright side, Aaron & I have a busy October Saturday is Jake's 3rd birthday, Wedding next weekend then off to Herman, MO. I try to keep posting as events happen :)

Aaron spent a weekend in Sept. watching the Chicago Bears play the KC Chiefs with his friend Chris Wads. Aaron went to a Chicago White Sox game Saturday night and then the football in Sunday. Aaron and Wads went to Harry Carry's on Saturday night. They bought weekend rail pass and enjoyed the town. Mel and Tony asked us to be Jillian's god parents. We felt so blessed to play a very important role in her life. Here are some pictures:

>>>Back to work after a 3 day weekend. We spent Friday night chillin with each other and my younger sister and her friends. Then Saturday we walked a lot , cleaned house and hung out with my friend Spence for dinner and a movie. Then on Sunday, we went to St. Joe for good eats and great treats. I love the dairy queen (ice cream shop) in St. Joe. We rode bikes on Sunday and then BBQ Sunday night. Jillian the baby is getting so big. Her baptism is next Sunday , I am excited for that occasion . Back to work and classes. Enjoying teaching. :)
