Embracing the Future....

Today I turn 30 and looking back on my life I have had some amazing birthdays. I would have to say my 16th birthday- white water rafting with my uncle in Utah for 5 nights rocked. I have a load on great memories of sleepovers from grade school. 21- was the summer before I left for Europe (that was a great birthday). 24- Aaron popped the question. 29- I found out I was pregs with Scott Basil and 30. I feel so incredible blessed words cannot describe how thankful I am to be alive and living my life. To 30 more great years!!! Until next time: loves and cupcakes

Cousin Jamie and Blake came to visit this past weekend. We enjoyed a great afternoon on the Lake yesterday with Lauren and Andy. Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Phil watch Scott while we were all at the Lake. Jamie and Blake made a great dinner for us last night and are heading home in the am today. During their stay Jamie took great pictures of SB for us here are a few to enjoy.

It is mid-July in Missouri and it is hot 100+ days for weeks at a time is what our days are looking like. As our son ages our sleep does not really lengthen. He is sleeping 1-3hours stretch and then maybe a 5 hours stretch throughout the night. We have a hungry boy- he wants his milk. Scott will be 4 months on the 27 and mommy will be 30. A big birthday for most- this mom wants a cookie cake and a Harry Potter movie escape. Thanks to my sister Lola AB and I are off to see Harry on Saturday morning. We have a busy month ahead of us. Jamie and Blake are coming to visit next weekend. Very excited to see our friends (who happen to be family). Then the following weekend my grandparents are up for the weekend. Busy Busy.
