Embracing the Future....

Scott Basil enjoyed his Christmas and now is looking forward to the new year. Look how big he is getting.

With the birth of Jesus near; it has been a very busy month for us. Between hospital visits, a trip to the ER, two Thanksgivings, a wedding, a school play, after loads of puking we have final managed the get our Christmas tree up. A treat to one another this year was new Stockings. Hear are a few pictures of the last month.

This weekend we spent time with Molly and Zach. Molly is one of my oldest friends and her and her husband Zach where in town from Colorado for a wedding. We hope to touch base again over Christmas. Thank you Molly for taking a few great shots. The rest of the weekend was spent getting the boat ready for the Winter, seeing Allison and Patrick's new house and hanging with Mallot on Sunday. We have the Barton Family Turkey day on Sunday and I have fall break next week. Excited for a few much needed days off. Our floors are finished and we are loving them- Until next time: to yummy coffee and old friends.

Since August my sister has been picking Scott up from school on Wednesdays and and watching him. Lauren starts a new job next week at KU Medical Center and will no longer be able to watch Scott on Wednesdays. It was great fun to have her company and helps once a week. Though we are excited for her new adventure- we will truly miss her. More Congrats are in order too: Lauren and Phillip D have bought a house off a 121 & State line road. Aaron, Scott Basil and I flew to Dallas this past weekend to visit friends. Scott was a great traveler- loved the plane. We hung out with our friend Becca on Friday during the day and spent the rest of the weekend with the Phillips. We went to a see where Sarah and Colin were married on Saturday. Here are some pictures. Sunday we went to a diner called Norma's it was yummy. We have a busy week ahead of us and are excited to see the Loftis's new house on Saturday. Scott was a dragon for Halloween this year and we enjoyed handing out candy. Jacob and Jillian Scott's cousins stopped by and brought Scott a yummy Gerber treat. They enjoy their M&M, Gum and Peez treats from Scott. Take a look our little guy at school. We are off to Dallas in two days and are looking forward to spending time with our friends.
