May is Here
May brought snow to the Mid-West yesterday. After storing away my winter boots last week and loving on my flip flops.. I am not wanting an iced coffee I want a warm latte. Scott moves to the 2 year classroom this week and we will be working on potty training with his teachers. In two weeks we are off to Maine, New Hampshire, and Mass for 10 days. Very excited!! Have not had a week off work since Christmas and have not been on a long vacation since June of last year. So it is way over due in my book. We did spend a weekend in Herman with friends in the fall and we are still going on our annual St. Louis 3 day weekend in June. 2013 has brought us so much already we are excited to see what the next 7 months hold for us.
Look Who is 2
We had mostly family over for Scott's Birthday and his friend Addison. It was a great day to celebrate turning two! It was a fun day full of icing and cookies. Scott also had his 2 year old appointment last week. Here is a break down of his stats since birth. Born: 8lb 11oz 21 inch 9 months: 19lbs 2oz 29 inch 12 months 22lbs 30 inch 18 months 25lbs 31inchs 24 months: 27lbs 32.5inchs Long story short on the stats is Scott grew a lot in the first 9 months of his life and really has not grown much since then. We are getting excited for spring and more time outside.
No more FACEBOOK
After a long time since I have posted - Basically I have not posted since we moved to our new home in August of 2012. We have been very busy and I have been using facebook as my media connection. I have closed my facebook account today (I am trying no facebook for a month) and then reevaluating if I want to ever use it again. Some of my friends I will be less connected too. But I was getting really sick of the news feed page and so on and so forth. I will be sending more email and so on. Scott turned 2 this week which was a great day- I took the day off and enjoyed it with my boy. Here are a few pictures and a video: Year two has been amazing for us. Less doctor visits and more sleep. We are looking forward to spring and spend time outdoors. We might join the neighborhood pool and hopefully (Liz) will get to work an adjust summer schedule.
Lauren's Bach Party
We spent the night in Weston for Lauren's Bachelorette Party. We enjoyed a wine tasting, snacks, games, Irish music in an underground bar, pedicures, pizza and JR local bar! To Lauren and her quickly approaching wedding- Congrats!!!!
