Christmas is bang down our door step....

Aaron and I had, 10 friends up for a Christmas party- with food and games last night. I love that Aaron and I collect Fiestaware, because I was worried about the dishes, but realized after setting the table for 12 there was nothing to worry about. I guess because my mother collects Blue Willow dishes and has over a couple dozen more settings than us I was nerves. It was good to know we could entertain 12 people comfortably. I had a blast, I hope everyone else did too.

We had a couple out of town guests we were really glad to see, because we do not see them very often. We had friends from Florida, Texas and all around the city. It will be the last Christmas for Aaron and my group of friends without children- Our friends Brooke and Adam our due in March and Darby and Eric are due in May. Good time.

Christmas Eve we will be with Aaron's family in St. Joe and Christmas day morning in Smithville, and then down to KC for Christmas with my family. My grandparents will not be coming this year- so we had Christmas on Saturday with them in a small town in between KC and Hernington, KS.

I am excited for the Christmas Season to start and have a week off. I am still fighting off a cold and when I woke up this morning it was -2 degree out (w/out the wind chill). Life is good.
