3 years on Wednesday...

Aaron and I spent the weekend in the small MO town of Weston. We enjoyed hiking the Weston Bend Park trails; drinking wine, munching on cheese and fresh bread at the Pirtle Winery; basking in the sun as we walked from little ma and pa shop's to another; the beer never tasted so good. After a great day of fun- we headed to the Avalon Restaurant for dinner. Then we went to the Jazz Piano Bar in our hotel and listened to great piano music and drank some tasty Belgium beers. After we ran and hiked on Sunday morning we headed back to Smithiville for some much need yard work. We spend most of the afternoon in the garden :) We are looking forward to seeing our friends soon after the birth of their son, who was due on Sunday, but is not ready to enter the world yet...

Kate Evans Wedding

Oct. 6, 2007 a friend of the family (when I was a young kid) was getting married. The Kate and Caleb were married in the back yard of Kate's parents house. It was a small, beautiful family get together. Aaron and I drove down with my parents. We stopped at local farmers markets, diners and antique shops. It was a good weekend. Lots of laughs in the car.
