A new week begins....
After a long week of stress and sadness- the weekend brought new hope and happiness. Friday night Aaron and I went to this antique warehouse called Good JuJu's it was awesome I found one of our lamps I have been collecting for years. Then we took my parents and their friends to 75th Street Brewery and enjoyed great conversation and company. Somehow the coversation of traveling came up and we told my parents we are going to Europe. One of the things Aaron and I wanted to do before we turned 30 was spend 10 days in Europe. This fall we will be lucky enough to do so. We will be spend 5 days in Ireland, 5 days in Gremany and a day trip to Salzburg. Will update more closer to the dates.
Saturday was rather busy: we started at the bank, then to Dave Smith's the lamp man, off to the Brookeside Art Fair for a little bit, then to the Plaza for a short stroll, a most needed Costco run, and to a beer festival in Parkville, MO. What a fun packed day..... We spent Saturday night hanging out with Melissa and Tony.
Sunday, Aaron taught me how to fish it was very relaxing and peaceful in the morning. Then a quick lunch and off to the races. We biked 18-20 miles around the Lake in the afternoon- to top the day of with grilling out and finishing out some odds and ends around the house. All in all it was a most needed reboosting weekend. Excited for a busy week at work with graduation. I cannot believe how quick the year went by.. Last May I was graduating with my Master's degree. Funny...
Plus, we are heading to Rocheport, MO this Friday for our annual Katy Trail ride. This year we are only biking 2 days instead of 3. We are biking 73 miles instead of 129.5 miles. We are hoping for no rain. Keep your fingers crossed for us :)
Until next time: Bike tires and Air pumps!
