A Great 3 Day Weekend

AB and I had a busy 3 day weekend. It started on Thursday night when we picked up our friends Allison and Patrick at the airport and headed to dinner at Bravo. Yummy! Then a couple bottles of wine later Allison and I kicked the boys in marbles 2-0! Then on Friday is was an early start to a great day at Clinton Lake in Kansas. We sent the day with Allison, Patrick, Tara, Mike(Allison's Dad) and Sarah(Tara's friend) out on the sailboat. It was a great day. We said our goodbyes to Allison and Patrick and headed back to Smithville.

For AB and I Saturday was jammed packed, with father's day lunch at the Neal's and then a rain delayed Royal's vs. Cardinals baseball game later in the afternoon with the Barton's. Plus, after a late dinner Aaron was pulled over in downtown Smithville for making a U-Turn. Gotta love cops in a small town!

Sunday was filled with pancakes, long bike-rides around the lake, yummy food, car washes, lawns being mowed, and ice cream. Here are some pictures from the Clinton Lake:

Kate Evans Wedding

Oct. 6, 2007 a friend of the family (when I was a young kid) was getting married. The Kate and Caleb were married in the back yard of Kate's parents house. It was a small, beautiful family get together. Aaron and I drove down with my parents. We stopped at local farmers markets, diners and antique shops. It was a good weekend. Lots of laughs in the car.
