Long summer nights
Last night Aaron and I finished putting together the fishing/depth finder. We were so excited we took the boat out for a dip in the lake. Aaron and I explored the lake - we went places we have never been before because now we know the depth of the water. Of course we fished a little and Aaron caught a fish- I of course did not. You think AB was happy about his catch? Then we watched the sunset over the dam on our float back to shore.
It was a great night. TGIF! We are baby-sitting for Jillian and Jacob tonight, and then I am off to work on Saturday. We are hoping for a great day on the lake on Sunday before Aaron heads off to OK for another 2 weeks-for work. Summer is coming to an end quicker than we thought. It is the end of July and the temperature is in the 80's-this is almost unheard of for MO.
Europe is around the corner and we are pumped. I cannot wait to see Pippa and explore Ireland, Germany and Austria with Aaron. It will be a much needed vacation. I am crossing my fingers about teaching a class again in the fall and hoping I really get too. We will have to wait and see.
