A Traveler's Story comes to an amazing end!!
Friday was spent in Salzburg with the Radius Tours. We meet Allen, our tour guide- from England, and we traveled by train to Salzburg, Austria. We enjoyed a quick city tour before we took a tram up to the Fortress on the hill side over look Salzburg, to explore. We ate lunch over looking the Alps. We are so blessed! Then we explored an old chapel hidden in the mts., saw a few sound of music picture opts, and the Dom Church all before we experienced a little more "liquid sunshine." We escaped into a little alley to fall upon another coffee shop- gotta love some European coffee, as our day in Salzburg came to an end.
After a quick train ride back to Munich we made our way to dinner. We enjoyed a great dinner and more pints. Aaron enjoyed a lush Cuban cigar. Another day slips away- now we have traveled to 4 different countries . We really have maximized our time abroad- as we will shortly embrace our last day in Munich.
Another great breakfast- we headed to the U-Bahn to make our way to the Nymphenburg Castle - An amazing 1800 century country home- now in the city. The castle was out of this world- from natural canal system, to pink hunting lodges, crystal ball rooms, made us wonder what it would be like being alive back in the day. After walking around the miles upon miles of grounds, we made our way to Olympic Park- BMW headquarters. We ate lunch in a the huge Olympic tour over looking the city, and with 360 degree views of the Alps. After lunch we headed to the Paulner Brewery! We enjoyed a few pints, and toured the place before we headed back to do some last minute shopping before we heading back for the night.
We had dinner at the Hofbrauhaus- the largest beer hall we had been in thus far. Able to set almost 1000+ people inside and out. Aaron and I enjoyed our last liters, great Gremany delights, and our last scopes of ice cream as we walked around the city center. A trip of a life time- unforgettable memories, loads of laughs, tears of joys, and a consist reminder of how blessed we are every day we are on this beautiful planet. We have grown, and experienced new things as a couple.
Until next time: embrace adventure and love strong!!!
