A Traveler's Story Part 2.....
After a greats sleep we made our way to meet Pippa. Today was our day with Pippa. Pippa and I meet back in 2002, while I was studying abroad in England. She played a major role with my new relationship with Christ. Pippa and her husband Matt our youth ministers in London.
We took Pippa to Trinity College and saw the book of Kells before we headed back to the Queen of Tarts for lunch. I knew Pippa would love this place. Aaron and I enjoyed some Irish tarts, then we all headed off to the Guinness Brewery for our tour. After the tour we made our way back to the bus station, so Pippa could make her way back to London. She is an amazing person, I am truly touch to have her as a friend across the lily pond.
After a bittersweet good-bye Aaron and I made out way to the Brazenhead for some local Irish food. The Irish make a great veggie-soup! Another day down.....
Tuesday we woke up early to catch a bus to Belfast to go to the Giant Causeway, a couple castles, and climb over a rope bridge. Good times the Rope Bridge was amazing . The views were out of this world. As the wind blew the cold, salty air up the side of the mt. - it brought smiles to our faces. After a great day we caught the bus back to Dublin. We meet some really nice girls from New Zealand and chatted about our travels. Immigrations pulled our bus over and checked all of our passports, as we enter back into Ireland. We found out later there was a bomber trying to escape from Northern Ireland via bus or train. Scary!- Glad we had our passports on us!
Our last day in Ireland started with a a little run around St. Stephan Green. We were told by a traffic cop there is no running on the side walks- So we walked to the park, and then started our run. We stopped at the "Bank" for bunch. The GM was working the bar were we sat, he was really nice. We headed back to the hotel for some last minute packing before we headed to the airport for Munich. We caught the Paddy Wagon Bus to the airport and we are off to BEER COUNTRY!
Stay Tuned for the second 1/2 of the story......................
