A Spooky Weekend

Halloween 2009 is here! Friday we enjoyed a dinner with AB's family. Then Saturday we helped with Cross Country 3A districts in Kearney, MO. Good times. Then we made our way back home for a run around the lake and then it was pumpkin time.This was our second year for trick or treaters at our house. We had 50 last year, but only 25 kids this year. What is the world coming too-when kids stop trick or treating?

Sunday was spent getting another hardwood floor estimate, by a local company in town, a great french toast breakfast, a 2 hour trail walk around the lake (where I saw 2 snakes), a little holiday shopping, and to top the night off we watching the new Transformers movie. Fall is here and the leaves are falling. We have been blessed with nice weather for the past couple of days. Next weekend we are off to Chill-town to visit the Niswongers. Exciting!!

Kate Evans Wedding

Oct. 6, 2007 a friend of the family (when I was a young kid) was getting married. The Kate and Caleb were married in the back yard of Kate's parents house. It was a small, beautiful family get together. Aaron and I drove down with my parents. We stopped at local farmers markets, diners and antique shops. It was a good weekend. Lots of laughs in the car.
