Christmas has come and gone...

This year for Christmas the skies opened up and brought snow. To many it put a damper on their holiday plans and for others it bought families closer together. Aaron and I continue to be blessed with great families and friends- it truly felt like Christmas watching Jacob and Jillian open their presents. My 2 1/2 year old niece rarely talks and as she unwrapped a gift she yelled out "baby, baby"- it was so sweet, to see how excited she was for that baby doll. Jacob who is 5 loved all of his bugs and toys.

We drove through the snow on Christmas morning to my parents house where for the first time in a long time my grandparents were not there. We shard gifts and then enjoyed some great homemade Italian food. After a great day we headed home to enjoy Harry Potter 6, before going to bed.

Saturday we played around the house and Sunday we baked and cooked most of the day away. Our friends came over for a little Christmas dinner and games. It was a good day. Now we are back to work for another short week. Hope to meet up with Darby and Eric for new years eve.
