Busy Weekend with Family
This past weekend we spent chilling with my family for Phil's 60th birthday party and Lauren's graduation (She now has a Associate Degree in Science, though Lauren plans to go back to school and receive her RN, we still celebrated her receiving an Associates Degree).
Saturday we woke up early to head down to the Zoo Run. Aaron ran the 4 mile ran in 29.12 minutes and I finished in 46.20 minutes quite a difference from last year, when we finished together with Adam in 34.30. Our friend Adam spent the weekend in Branson, MO completing his first 1/2 iron man(congrats Adam)!- So he was unable to join us this year. It was a great time, we enjoy the new Polar Bear at the Zoo and then headed back to my rents to shower and grab a quick nap, before we headed out to Upper Crust, Pryde's in Old Westport, Costco and Home Depot. We are trying to fix our house and get it painted before winter hits, we are not having much luck. We need quite a few boards replaced on our house. We are having problems finding who makes or sales the boards. We ended the day by enjoying dinner at a Japanese steak house with the family.
Sunday we enjoyed Sherry's pancakes, Smokehouse Bacon and yummy Roasterie Latte's. Then we head back home to work on the house, trying to find boards etc. We walked down to the lake to check out the storm damage and then head home to watch football. This week is busy at work and this upcoming weekend I am working. How exciting!!!
Until Next Time: Too Rainy Weekends with Colorful Umbrellas!!!
