Busy Weekend

Another packed weekend. Aaron and I spent Saturday morning planting Tulips on Troost. A project to help make the inner city more beautiful. Then we headed to the paint store, then Major Lumber, we headed home to try and tackle prep-ing the house to paint next weekend. Though the rain had other ideas. We painted a few of the boards in the garage before headed inside to finish laundry. We watched a great movie and off to bed.

Sunday was a glorious day. Sunny and high in the low 70's. We started working on the house. Aaron on the outside and me on the inside. I continued to finished laundry and move furniture around the house. Slowly trying to see what we want in the baby's room. Then, I finally got around to filling in a dozen or so picture wholes around the house. After some much need touch up paint. The green room is picture free and ready for the baby in like 26 weeks. Bathrooms check, vacuum check, dusting windows check, kitchen clean check. After a long day of cleaning and fixing the house we were very ready to relax for a few hours before heading to bed and starting the week over again. In two weeks we are off to Chicago for a long weekend. Very excited to see friends and family- plus catch a Bears game!!
