2010 Wow -What a year!!!

Here is a recap of all the ups and downs for us in 2010(in no particular order):
1. AB turned 28 - I turned 29
2. Annual K-State Basketball game with my grandparents- Manhattan, KS
3. Was told in May we would more than likely have to adopt or proceed with In Vitro to have a family- July found out we were pregnant(miracles can happen)!!!
4. Round Top Antique Show in March, Texas
5. St. Petersburg, FL vacation to visit Allison and Patrick in April- nothing a deep sea adventure and a few days on the beach to start spring
6. Molly's Bachelorette Party- Breckenridge, Colorado & Shower in KC in March
7. Molly and Zach's Wedding in Downtown Kansas City, MO - reception at the BLVD Brewery in May
8. AB's cousin Clarissa's Wedding in St. Joesph, MO in June
9. AB's college teammate Kristi and Jason's Wedding in Mid-town KC in July
10. Amy Gorno Annually visit- yummy eats at Justice Drugstore in August
11. Weekend in St. Louis for a Cardinals game with AB's rents - totally loved eating at the moving restaurant over looking the stadium and the arch
12. Lake living/boating with family and friends
13. Blake and Jamie's wedding in Fish Creek, WI - a great long weekend away in August
14. Another trip to St. Petersburg, FL in August
15. Katy Trail adventure- yummy deep fried portabella mushrooms with ranch :)
16. Celebrated our 4 anniversary in Weston, MO - the bread and cheese basket with Raspberry Mead wine is our favorite
17. Go Bears! Enjoyed a long weekend in Chicago visiting friends & family - We went to a Bears game with Chris and Amanda
18. KC- Zoo Run (managed to run 4mile run 15 weeks prego)
19. A visit to Chill-town, MO
20. Sesame Street Live with Jacob and Jillian - January
21. Our dishwasher started smoking :(
22. Adventure to Massachusetts- Boston and Amesbury to visit old friends. Too long walks on the freedom trail, Plum Island, picking fruit fresh from the tree, Redsox game and yummy bagels
23. Boat needed repairs- now is fixed by AB and stored for the winter
24. Jacob(our nephew)turned 6 & Jillian(our niece)turned 3
25. Harry Potter movie weekend- a great book series Chris Geer introduce me to back in 2001. I took Harry with me to SE ASIA and now my husband has read the books too.
26. Discovered rotting boards on our house :( Boards replaced by AB and house now repainted thanks to AB, Andy and Phil.
27. Gram- Neal moved in a old folks home
28. Enjoyed dinners and time with friends
29. Two of my oldest friends got engaged (Spence and Holla)
30. Ashley, Laura and Debbie all had their babies- but not in that order. Alex is 8 months(Debbie's son), Addison is 6 months(Ashley's Daughter) and Charlotte 5 months (Laura's daughter)
31. Fab Thanksgiving with family
32. Snow until March :(
33. Blake and Jamie's summer visit to Missouri in July
34. Long talks with old friends in the US & Abroad
35. Sugarland Concert
36. 9inch nail in my tire :(
We have been very blessed in 2010! God has been good. Who knows what 2011 will bring. We are excited for our next adventure parenthood in March or April- whenever baby B is ready to join us. Wishing everyone the best this holiday season. Take care and give thanks..
